A NEW ADDITION

Steve, Helen and Nisha have announced that there will be a new addition to their family, the baby is due at the end of February, they are all very excited about it.

COLLECTION FOR PARKISTAN

Praise God for the £1460.10 sent to Baptist Mission Society from the collection taken at the combined service at CBC on Sunday 15th August to help those affected by the catastrophic floods in Pakistan. Please do keep those people in your prayers.

MORNING PRAYER

The morning prayer meetings are on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month starting at 9am. This is a short time of prayer when local people meet together. The next prayer morning is on Tuesday September 14th in the church.

SMALL GROUPS

There are small groups that meet regularly on a Wednesday evening in people’s homes to study the Bible and support each other in pray. To find out more about these groups please to speak to Duncan or a church leader.

GIFT AID ENVELOPES

Gift aid envelopes are available for those who wish to give a cash gift to the church; you need to fill out Gift Aid Declaration form (available from the church administrator) this will be forwarded to the church treasurer who will issue you with your own personal number. This number should be written on all envelopes (without this information the tax relief cannot be claimed) you do not need to put your name on the envelope this section is for visitors only. All declarations must be in the name of the taxpaying individual and not couples.

TWO GOOD PERFORANCES

Both on Friday September 24th two performances by the Solomon Touring Theatre.

“Trickster” - the bogus caller musical 10.30am at St. Luke’s Church Parkstone.

“Too good to be true” – the Scambuster musical at 2.30pm at Oakdale Community Centre. For more details and how to book see leaflets in foyer.
