EASTER FUN DAY

The special collection last Sunday raised £190.27. If you came unprepared last Sunday to give a donation and would like to give something, then Easter Eggs are needed as prizes also cream eggs. Please give them to Stuart and Sue.

SAINSBURY’S ACTIVE KIDS VOUCHERS

CBC are collecting these vouchers - through this scheme they can get exciting new equipment for children’s work. Please collect the vouchers if you shop at Sainsbury’s and give them to Stuart or Sue.

SMALL GROUPS

There are small groups that meet regularly on a Wednesday and a Thursday evening and a Wednesday lunchtime in people’s homes to study the Bible and support each other in pray; to find out more about these groups please to speak to Duncan or one of the church leaders.

GIFT AID

Did you know that if you are a basic rate tax payer and give money to the church, the church can claim back the income tax you have paid on the amount you have given. It’s very easy to set up, if you want to give using this scheme then all you need to do is fill out a Gift Aid declaration form, these are available from Carol Adamson.

MORNING PRAYER - on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month

The morning prayer meetings are on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month starting at 9am. This is a short time of prayer when local people meet together. The next prayer morning is on Tuesday 23rd March in the side room.

EXTRA-ORDINARY FAMILY MEETING

On Thursday March 18th at 7.45 in the church there is an extra-ordinary family meeting.

This meeting is for members and regular attenders of the church. A letter explaining the reason for this meeting is available. Please see Carol if you have not been given one.

GARDENING MORNINGS

It is hoped that with these gardening mornings we shall be able to clear the land at the back from nettles and turf the area so we have a nice lawn to use. Please bring your tools.

The dates are: - Saturday 10th April & Saturday 17th April all 10am till noon.

CHURCH PRAYER MORNING

On Saturday March 20th there is a church prayer morning at Crowe Methodist Church, Near Ringwood 9.30am till 12.30pm.

THE LAST THURSDAY GROUP

Do you care for or live with someone with Mental Health issues? We do! We meet in the church to support each other with coffee and a chat on the last Thursday of every month. The next meeting is on March 25th at 10.30am.

EASTER FUN DAY- On Saturday 3rd April. Biscuits and cakes needed for the day.

FUND RAISING CONCERT

On Saturday 8th May at 7.30pm The Candlelight Singers (the choir Carol Adamson belongs to) are coming to the church to give a concert in aid of the building fund. An evening of music and song plus special guest flautist – something for everyone – so please bring friends and family along. More detail soon.

Palm Sunday March 28th - Joining St Luke’s at 9.30am. (No service here)

Good Friday 2nd April - Raise the Cross on the Village Green at 9.30am

  followed by refreshments in the hall.

Easter Sunday 4th April - Easter Morning Family Worship Service

URC and BCC together. Refreshments will be served in the hall from 10am.The service starts at 10.30am
