Burton Community Church exists to help the people of Burton, beyond and to the boundaries of the earth hear the Good News of Jesus Christ.
To experience the life changing power of a relationship with Jesus in our lives and our communities.

On the other hand it doesn’t matter where we live or who we are there is a desire in mankind that longs for something or someone bigger than ourselves to fire us up when we are low and channel that fire when life is good.
Burton Community Church was set up in 1995 to help the people of Burton hear the good news of Jesus Christ who we believe gives us that channel and that purpose for life. He is our Creator, our saviour from the evil in this world, and our Sustainer in this turbulent life. It makes sense to me that the whole of life is moving towards a person who loves us and wants to be with us now and for eternity.
That is why at Burton Community Church we make Jesus Christ the focus of what we do and try and live out life as He would want. We don’t always get it right but then that makes us only too aware we are vulnerable human beings.
So if you want to come to an essentially British Village and meet with people who are going through the joys and sorrows of life, knowing there is a God who helps us, we would be so pleased to welcome you. We meet at the Burton United Reformed Church on Burton Village Green. We are a Baptist Church seeking to work with the United Reformed Church in spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Join us for Coffee and a Chat on Sunday morning at 10:15 or come and join us to worship the living God at 11:00am. Together with the United Reformed Church there is a whole range of activities described on this web-site.
